While SEMA isn’t exactly known as the place to unveil new vehicle models, Honda did exactly that this morning in Las Vegas, debuting its 2014 Honda Civic Coupe.

For the 2013 model year, the Civic sedan got a quick redesign after the ninth-generation Civic launch didn’t go as smoothly as Honda had hoped. The coupe model however, was left untouched. For the 2014 model year, Honda gave its Civic coupe a transformation, featuring a more aggressive front end and a more stylish design in the rear. That updated Civic coupe along with its performance-oriented Si had their covers pulled off this morning at the 2013 SEMA Show.

The Si model also gets Si-exclusive design cues, including a unique lower front bumper garnish, larger rear decklid spoiler, a distinctive front spoiler and sporty rear air diffuser. The Si sedan will also benefit from those changes, which also include larger 18-inch wheels and tires. The Japanese automaker will be releasing new wheel designs for both models.

Performance has also been bumped to 205 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, with the Si models gaining 4 hp and 4 lb-ft of torque thanks to a retuned exhaust system.

Joining the 2014 Civic Si Coupe on the stage at the 2013 SEMA Show was a 2014 Civic Coupe EX-L equipped with a Honda Genuine Accessories aero kit and 18-inch wheels, the HPD Civic Si Coupe Race Car and the HPD Civic Street Performance Concept.
