As we near the end of 2017, automakers are looking to get rid of inventory with some outstanding lease deals.

Leasing is a great way to get into a brand new car with a low monthly payment and not a lot due at signing. Shopping around, you might be surprised to see what vehicles are available for $199 or cheaper. Keep in mind, however, whenever you lease a vehicle, you will want to pay close attention to the fine print, including how many miles you’re allowed to drive during the lease term, and if there any disposition fees or acquisition fees tied to the lease.

You’ll also want to remember that your lease payments can be increased or decreased depending on how much money you want to give up at signing. Just because the terms require a certain amount due at signing doesn’t mean you have to pay exactly that amount. Pay more and it will decrease your monthly payments, or pay less and it will increase your monthly payments. In other words, there’s a total cost to the lease and that’s what you’re obligated to pay, whether you do more or less of it at signing.

Here are some of the cheapest cars to lease. Not all of these deals are available at every dealership, so check with your local one first to see if they’re participating.
