Two of America’s best-selling cars could be at risk of reduced production as inventories for the Toyota Camry and the Honda Civic are on the rise.
According to an RBC Capital Market report, the Toyota Camry exceeded its seasonal historical average inventory by more than a 15-day supply last month while the Honda Civic carried about 25 more days than average.

Auto sales through the first six months of 2013 saw General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler gaining. Acccording to Toyota however, last month, the Camry inventory was at 55 days supply, compared with 57 a year earlier. The Japanese automaker mentioned that the “Camry has been running at a days supply in the 50s since January.”
As for Honda, a spokesman said that the automaker has about a 60-day supply for the Civic.
